Heather Wilde graduated with her Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 2001 and in 2014 she passed her certification exams in craniosacral therapy through the Upledger Institue. Heather is now investing in taking monthly Osteopathic Manual Therapy courses from master clinician and physical therapist Neal O’Neal.
Through the Barral and Upledger Institutes and Heather has taken: Craniosacral Therapy 1, 2; Somatoemotional Release 1, 2; Prenatal, Pregnancy and Birthing 1, Immune Course 1, Touching the Brain 1- Glial Cells; and Longevity, Reversal of Aging Process. In the Barral Institute Heather has taken Visceral Manipulation 1 and 2 is looking forward to continuing in this curriculum this next year.
In the Osteopathic Manual Therapy courses Heather has taken from Neal O’Neal: The Myalgia Patient, Pediatrics, Medical Sciences 3 and 4, Parasympathetic Nervous System, The Advanced Thorax, Neuromuscular Exercise, Pelvis and Gait, Cervical Spine, Bennett and Chapman, Athletic LE, and Scapulothoracic courses. Additional classes planned every year in these studies.
Heather finds joy in being the mother of 2 boys, creating a garden landscape, and moments of true connectedness to her body. Being a part of another’s healing journey is an honor and privilege.
